This month our team will give dental education presentations to over 1,260 local elementary school children.
Why do we take the time to do these school programs?
First off, we get great feedback from the kids and teachers, and our team members have a lot of fun doing them too.
Plus, February is National Children’s Dental Health Month, so it’s a great opportunity for us to teach kids about the importance of oral health in a “show and tell” style.
Finally, most parents don’t realize that tooth decay is the #1 childhood disease among school children.
As pediatric dentists, our goal is to change that.
That’s why we want to give you three ways to keep your child healthy and free of dental disease:
1. Educate yourself.
You can start with the Top 10 Dental Tips for Elementary School Children. Remember, cavities are 100% preventable.
2. Help your child brush.
As a parent, you’ve got to make sure your child brushes twice a day for two minutes. Good dental habits are formed at home!
3. Take your child to see a pediatric dentist twice-a-year.
You probably already knew that, right?
Well, to make things a little easier for you, this month we’re giving away a limited quantity of $50 gift cards.
We only printed a small number of these, so click here now to request your free gift card.
