Four of our children, ages 12, 10, 8, & 6, had cleanings & exams. A couple had X-rays & a couple had sealants put in new molars. Our 6-year-old had a baby tooth knocked out when she was 2 so Dr R has been watching closely the development of the adult tooth behind the lost one and has kept me well informed of the possibilities and treatment options. So far we are taking a wait-&-see approach, which I appreciate bc I am a less-is-more kind of mama when it comes to medical/dental interventions with our children. Dr R’s staff is great about scheduling so that we were only in the office 75 minutes total, from the time we walked in til the time we left! That included cleanings, X-rays, sealants, Dr R’s exam of each child, applying fluoride (which is optional), choosing prizes, having their photos taken for the “Cavity-Free Club” bulletin board, and squaring with insurance. He and his staff are very friendly and always make the kids feel comfortable. I appreciate the open floor plan where I can sit and have all 4 kids visible the whole time, no matter what their treatment is. There are iPads available for the kids to play games while they wait & even though the staff does clean them regularly I have the kids wash hands after using them but the whole place is brand new and very clean. Dr Roberts is a kind man who loves his family and it shows in his interactions with the families of his patients. I definitely recommend his practice.
